Austin Scott Stogner, born on January 22, 1998, in Lancaster, SC, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2024. Austin is survived by his parents Scott and Lisa Stogner, mother, Patricia Ann Chriscoe; his sisters, Misty Wood (Ben) of Lancaster, Rebecca Yates (Andrew) of Clearwater FL. , Kelly Stogner (T.J. Craig) of Chesterfield, and Megan Gwin (Josh Sims) of Fort Lawn; brothers, Cody Gwin (Jessica), Justin Johnson, Stephen Clyburn; 9 nieces and 9 nephews; his grandmother Mary Ross all of Lancaster; his extended family and friends.
Austin is deeply loved by all and will be profoundly missed. At the age of 26, he leaves behind so many memories that continue to bring warmth and laughter to all who knew him. Austin carried a deep belief in the power of kindness and to treat others as they would like to be treated. Raised with moderate Christian faith, his quick humor, generous spirit, and unmatched ability to make others feel genuinely loved and happy was the best of his character. Austin loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved animals, was an amazing artist, reading the Bible, and making Snapchat videos. A proud organ donor, Austin's life is honored and will be remembered by others able to live through him.
Austin's life and legacy will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Memorial and visitation services will be held at Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720. Memorial services begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel and visitation will be held directly after.
