LANCASTER, S.C.  Mrs. Betty Louise Richardson Cook age 88 wife of the late Palmer Cook passed away early Wednesday morning at her home.

The Funeral Services are 3 P.M. Saturday at The Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ronnie Boling and Rev.Jason Boling. The Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 3 P.M. at the funeral home in the Waterfall Room.  Mrs. Betty was born March 20,1937 at Brittons Neck S.C. a daughter of the late Wade LeGrande Richardson and the late Helen Costie Causey Richardson and was the wife of Mr. Palmer Vander Cook for 66 years. The Graveside Service and burial beside her husband Mr. Palmer Cook will be 3 P.M. Sunday at The Old Neck Cemetery in Brittons Neck, S.C.

She was a retired Nurse with Springs Memorial Hospital a member of White Springs Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School Class, she loved yard work, and gardening, sewing, and her family dearly. She is survived by two sons Randy Cook Lancaster, S.C. and Kenneth Cook and his wife Angie Cook of Conway, S.C. Three daughters Pam Cook Boling and husband Rev. Ronnie Boling of Greenwood, S.C., Wanda Cook Hayes and husband Richard Hayes and Brenda Cook Hyatt and husband Bryan both of Lancaster, 16 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grand-Children and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Four Sisters Sandra Pound and husband Terry, Deloris Tanner and husband Benjie, Janice Richardson, and Kathy Owens and her husband Wyman and Glenda Bolyn.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by One Grandchild Matthew Schumpter, a brother Joseph Richardson, and two sisters Lillian Gold, Mattie Wise, and her daughter in Law Cyndi Edwards Cook.
