LANCASTER SC Carolyn Mackey Hensley age 70, died peacefully at her home early Thursday morning, March 2, 2017. Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Howell. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Visitation and gathering of friends will be from 6-8 P. M. Friday Evening at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home , 684 Hubbard Drive Lancaster S.C.Carolyn was born December 21, 1946 in Lancaster a daughter of the late Robert Lee Mackey and Fanny Presley Mackey, she retired from Sonoco and was a member of Taylors Grove Baptist Church.Carolyn is survived by her loving husband William 'Tommy' Hensley, Sr. of the home, 2 sons; William Hensley, Jr. and his wife Dawn, and Richard Hensley and his wife Diane , 1 daughter; Tammie Dickinson, 2 brothers Robert Lee Mackey Jr. and wife Diane and Jason Mackey and wife Sandra 1 sister Mary Lee Terry and husband Lennie Terry all of Lancaster., 6 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild.The Family suggest memorials to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.THE JERRY HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME 684 HUBBARD DRIVE, LANCASTER S.C. 285-8000 IS TAKING CARE OF CAROLYN AND HER FAMILY. .
