LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. Chivers Woods age 87 died Friday May 27, 2022 at his home. The Family will host a service at a later date in July, 2022. Mr. Woods was born in Chester County a son of the late Chivers Woods and Pearl Dawkins Woods, and was married to the late Linda Helms Woods who died in 2019. Mr. Woods was 1 of 19 Siblings and only a few still living. Mr. Woods was a Farmer, Retired from Textiles, and of the Baptist Faith.Mr. Woods is survived by 2 sons Anthony E. "Tony" Woods Sr. of the home and Anthony E. Woods Jr. (Tiffani) 3 Daughters Cynthia W. Rollins, Kayla Ellis (Dylan) and Kimberly Palestino. 5 Grandchildren, and 23 Great Grandchildren. 2 Brothers Charles Woods, Furman Woods, 2 Sisters Virginia Pack and Diane Wilburn (Lamar).Mr. Woods was Preceded in death by a Daughter Venessa Woods McDonald, 4 Brothers Carl, Roger, Jimmy, and Lindsay Woods.Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, S.C. 803-285-8000 is taking Care of Mr. Woods and His Family. .
