Saturday June 19, 2021 At Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel - 684 Hubbard Drive,Lancaster, S.C. and Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park beside his Belovedwife Nancy Reid Hayes. Jr. worked for Springs Industries, and was the owner of several business's in Lancaster. Jr. was born February 20, 1934 in Gastonia, N.C. a son of the late Claude Hayes Sr. and Annie Hayes, and was marriedto the late Nancy Reid Hayes for 61 years.Jr. is survived by his 2 sons Claude Hayes, III and wife Kitty Hayes of Lancaster David Hayes and wife Linda Hayes of Orlando, Fla. 3 Grandchildren, and a long time family friend Johnny Martin and wife Jennifer Martin of Lancaster.The Family Suggest Memorials to Hospice and Appreciation to the 6th Floor Nurses and Doctors of MUSC Lancaster.
