David Wiley Blackmon

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. David Wiley Blackmon age 50 died Thursday March 12, 2020. The Memorial Service for David will be postponed to a later date due to the world wide Pandemic of the Corona-virus. The Funeral Home will notify you by web site and newspaper when the services are re-scheduled. This a request by Davids family and many friends that would like to be here. David was born July 10, 1969 in Charlotte, N.C. a son of Myrtle Reece Rogers and the late Blease Blackmon, Jr. David Graduated from Lancaster High School in 1987 and earned a B. S. Degree from the University Of South Carolina in 1991. David was a self Employed Contractor and followed many of the traits of his immediate family in the construction business. He drew the completed plans of the old Hartley Funeral Home at 1800 Charlotte Highway in 1994. David was a mason and Shriner and attended Springdale Baptist Church. David is survived by his mother and step father Myrtle Reece Blackmon Rogers and Bill Rogers, 2 Daughters Sarah Addison Blackmon, and Anselle Reece Blackmon both of Irmo, S.C.
