LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Wilma Desserene Steen Baker age 87 died peacefully early Tuesday Morning April 25, 2017 at her home. The Funeral Service will be 2PM Friday April 28, 2017 from the Graveside at Taxahaw Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Ray Robinson officiating, burial will follow. The greeting and receiving of friends will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday evening at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive 285-8000, Lancaster, S.C.Mrs. Baker was born December 6, 1929 in Columbia, S.C. a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Steen and wife of the late William 'Bill' Baker. She retired as a textile weaver with Springs Industries, and was a short order cook at the former Lancaster Creamery on Memorial Park Road.Mrs. Baker is survived by 1 son, Franklin D. Steen and wife Andee Steen of Heath Springs, 10grandchildren, Charity Baker, James Owen Baker, Tina Michelle Baker, Joshua Owens Baker, Kimberly Lynn Baker, Tammy Sue Baker, Lynzi Renea Baker, Christopher Steen, Matthew Steen, and Van Steen, 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 Daughter Vickie Gail Baker, 3 Sons Roger Dale Baker, Robert Lynn Bakerand Richard Allen Baker, 3Brothers Clyde W. Steen , Robert L. Stein, and James H.
