Clover, S.C. Mrs. Diana Durbin Hunter, age 71, wife of Mark Hunter, died Thursday March 7, 2024, at her Lake Wylie home in Clover, S.C. Diana was born May 2, 1952, in Charlotte, N.C. a daughter of the late James Edwin Durbin, Sr., and Betty Jean Rawlings Durbin. Until her retirement in 2013 she was employed in the Food Brokerage Industry and after retirement she worked part-time with Samaritans Purse Christmas Shoe Box Ministry. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Belmont, N.C. She was a loving wife and mother and friend who was always there when we needed her.
The Visitation Service for Diana will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. on Monday March 11, 2024, at Friendship Baptist Church in Belmont, N.C. and will be officiated by Reverend Dr. James Hilton. The burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park in Lancaster, S.C.
Diana is survived by her husband Mark Hunter of the home, daughter Christy Teli Duncan and husband John Van Duncan IV, 6 Grandchildren, Melissa Teli, Brian Teli, Katelynn Teli, John Teli, Joshua Duncan, and Caden Duncan, a brother James Edwin Durbin, Jr., 2 sisters Pam Durbin Pegram and Donna Durbin Plegue and husband Tom Plegue.
Diana was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Durbin, and son-in-law, Martin David Teli, and brother-in-law Ed Pegram.
