Dianna “Dee” Poland, 76 of Fort Mill passed away on Monday August 17, 2026, at Harbor Chase Riverwalk Assisted Living in Rock Hill, S.C.
She was born in Oppy Kentucky a daughter of the late Lafe Murphy and Margie Nickels Murphy and wife of Mr. Howard Poland of Their Home in Indian Land, S.C. She retired from SPX in Human Resources.
She found great joy in the many things she loved to do. She was an avid and talented pickleball player and enjoyed spending time playing Mexican Train dominoes with family and friends. Her creative side shone through her love of crafting, growing beautiful flowers, and shopping. She also had a wonderful eye for interior design and a natural talent for making spaces feel beautiful and welcoming.
Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply and was a devoted and loving grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her Christian faith was an important part of her life and guided the way she loved and cared for those around her. She will be remembered for her faith, her creativity, her many talents, and most of all, the love and devotion she gave so freely to her family.
Dianna is survived by her loving husband, Howard Poland; her children, Tyler Buskirk, Tracey Buskirk, Bret Poland and Brandy Itnyre; six grandchildren; two brothers; and five sisters.
