Edward "Eddie" Victor Wallace

Edward “Eddie” Victor Wallace, 91, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at E. Roy Stone Veterans Pavilion in Columbia, SC. Born September 21, 1934, in Lancaster, SC, he was the son of the late Monroe V. Wallace and Cora Jane Caston Wallace. Eddie was the loving husband to the late Elizabeth “Lib” Veal Wallace for over 68 years. After retiring from Springs Industries’ Katherine Plant in Chester, SC, he spent countless hours with his grandchildren and family. 

He was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church where at the age of 13, accepted Christ and was Baptized. He served our great country in the United States Army. Eddie also drove vehicles for Burns Ford Automotive in Lancaster—a task which he enjoyed very much.

He is survived by 2 sons, Scott Wallace (Melanie) and Todd Wallace; 1 daughter, Kelli Brasington (Richard), all of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jane Ballentine (Jim)and Suzanne Brown (Barry, deceased) all of Lancaster.

Eddie was preceded in death by 1 brother, Noel Lynn Wallace.

The Family will receive friends from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Dr., Lancaster, SC 29720. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

The Celebration of Life Service and Interment will be private.
