LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Teenie Kerr age 97 died the early evening of October 21, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. The Funeral Services will be 3 P.M. Tuesday afternoon, October 24th at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by the pastor of The First Presbyterian Church Rev. Edgar McCall, with burial to follow beside her late husband Mr. Floyd ' Buddy ' Kerr at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Kerr will Receive and Greet friends from 2-3 P.M. Tuesday before the service.Mrs. Teenie was born November 12, 1919 in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Walter Lee Steele and May Cunningham Steele, and was married to the late Buddy Kerr . Mrs Teenie retired from both The Lancaster Telephone Company and The Cauthen Funeral Home Flower Shop where she worked for many years. Mrs. Teenie was the last member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by 6 siblings. Mrs. Teenie was a resident of Morningside Assisted Living for many years. She Loved playing Bridge and working as a florist at Cauthen Funeral Home Flower Shop for many years.Members of her family are her daughter Linda Kerr Helms and husband Charles Helms, of Lancaster, 1 son Richard D. Kerr and wife Deborah Kerr of Roswell Georgia, 4 Grandchildren, John E. Kerr and wife Cassie Kerr, Andrew D. Kerr, Patrick L. Helms, and Megan Helms Benton, and husband Mason Benton, 4 Great-Grandchildren Whit Kerr, Carter Kerr, Claire Benton, and Chase Benton.The Family of Mrs. Kerr suggest Memorials be made to The First Presbyterian Church, P.O.
