LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs Evelyn Roberts Goude age 86 died Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill . Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday July 30 2016 at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Jimmy Lambert, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park, visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive in Lancaster. Mrs. Goude was born January 18, 1930 in Hartsville, SC a daughter of the late Ashley Roberts and Leila Gibson Roberts and was married to Hugh Gilbert Goude for 61 years. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, and retired from Springs Industries. Evelyn is survived by her husband Gilbert Goude of the home, 2 sons Aaron Goude and his fiancee Daisy Futoran and Ricky Goude and his wife Beth both of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren Kayla Goude, Zachary Goude, and Paige Autry, 2 great-grandchildren Bryce and Brody Autry. Mrs. Goude was preceded in death by a son Hugh Gilbert Goude, Jr, 2 brothers Martin Roberts and James Roberts, 4 sisters Pauline Cooper, Myrtle Taylor, Helen Evans, and Margie Roberts .
