Frances Louise Griffith

INDIAN LAND, S.C.::: Mrs. Frances Louise Holcomb Griffith age 85 died Sunday Evening December 9, 2018 at Morningside Assisted Living in Lancaster. The Funeral Services will be at a later date, and burial will be in Washington, D. C. (Maryland) beside her late husband Mr. William Griffith. Mrs. Griffith was born September 29, 1933 in Cleveland, Tennessee, a daughter of the late David R. Holcomb, and Mamie Duggar Holcomb, and was married to the late William Griffith. She retired from the United States Government as a secretary for the Department Of Defense at the Pentagon, and of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Griffith is survived by 3 Sisters Lenita Hartley and husband M.R. Hartley of Indian Land, Martha Holcomb, and Rebecca Boston, both of Canton, Ohio. Her son Sherman David Griffith preceded her in death. The Family wishes to thank Morningside of Lancaster for their excellent, and professional care of Frances, you will always be remembered.
