Frances Dorman Williams

KERSHAW, S.C. Mrs. Frances Dorman Dabney Williams, 85, of Kershaw, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Born in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy Jackson Dorman, Sr. and Virginia Gunning Dorman. Mrs. Williams loved shopping, working in her yard and traveling, especially to visit family in Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and being a “Mimi” to her grandchildren and great-grandson. 

She was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church and also loved her Walnut Hill Baptist Church family in Campobello, SC. 

She is survived by her son, Daniel Scott Dabney (Ann Taylor, significant other) of Kershaw, SC; daughter, Ginger Dabney Lewellen (Scott) of Campobello, SC; two grandchildren, Meredith Lewellen Jones (David) of Chesnee, SC and Greyson Michael Dabney of Kershaw, SC; one great-grandson, Maddux Dean Jones of Chesnee, SC and one brother, Ted Dorman (Marie) of Tampa, FL.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Worth Dabney; her daughter, Cynthia Dabney Baker, and three brothers, Mickey Dorman, Roy J. Dorman, Jr. and Kenny Dorman.

Visitation will take place at Second Baptist Church of Kershaw, SC from 11:45AM-12:45PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00PM. Burial will be at the Kershaw City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Rev. Scott Lewellen, Rev. Bart Miles and Rev. Sean Stroud will officiate.
