Fred William Elliott

Lancaster, S.C. Mr. Fred William Elliott age 93 husband of Almetta Elliott passed away Wednesday September 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

The graveside service for Fred will be 3 P.M. Sunday September 29, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with family will follow the service at the cemetery.

Fred was born in Rutherfordton, N.C, July 30, 1931 son of the late J. Baxter Elliott, and Catherine Bennett Elliott. Fred was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, and farming. Fred served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was employed by Duke Energy as a foreman.

Fred is survived by his wife Almetta Elliott of 68 years, two daughters Deborah Elliott Reeves, and husband Bruce Reeves, Denise Elliott and one Grandchild Catherine Tofts.

Fred is Preceded in death by two brothers Bruce Elliott and Charles Elliott a sister Catherine Taylor and son in law Les Tofts.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Antioch Baptist Church 1734 Antioch Church Road, Lancaster, S.C.
