LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. James Louis Deas, Jr. age 70 died Sunday at MUSC Lancaster. The Services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel. The Visitation with Friends and Family will be from 1-2 P.M. at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive Lancaster, S.C. 803-285-8000. James was born May 11, 1951 in Lancaster a son of the late James Louis Deas, Sr, and Bessie Mae Ivey Deas, he was a logger and of the Baptist Faith.James is survived by his wife Sherry Nemeth, 3 Daughters Peggy Deas, Kay Dease, Joni Leigh Deas, 1 Son Jody Lee Deas and wife Elizabeth, 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and and 3 Brothers William Deas, Carl Deas, and Coleman Deas, 5 Sisters Eliza Stevens, Bobbie Simmons, Betty Starnes Donna Price, and Maxine Deas. James was preceded in death by 2 Sisters Marcella Kay, and Margie Stevens and one Great -Grand Daughter Dixie Lynn Deas. .
