James Franklin Holshouser

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. James Franklin Holshouser age 84 went to be with the lord Tuesday October 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The Homecoming Celebration will be 3 PM Friday October 11, 2024, at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel. The family will speak with friends outside after the service.

James was born in Lancaster, S.C. April 14, 1940, a son of the late Thomas Holshouser and Aline Kelly Holshouser and was married to Daisy Anderson Holshouser for nearly 64 years. James and Daisy only dated three months before marrying. James retired from Springs Industries Elliott Plant. James's passions were Christ, family, and church. James enjoyed working in his yard, camping, traveling and bluegrass festivals.
James is survived by his wife Daisy of the home, Three daughters Marilyn Davidson (Michael); Vicky Holshouser; Nena Steen (Rick); Nine Grandchildren; Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren; One brother Thomas Craig; Two sisters Frances Cauthen and Barbara Wright.

James is preceded in death by his parents; Two brothers Junior Holshouser, Donnie Craig; Two sisters Mary Robinson and Betty Blackmon.
