Jerry Lee Deese

LANCASTER, S.C.  Mr. Jerry Lee Deese age 79 died September 26, 2023 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. The Memorial Service will be 3 P.M. Sunday November 12, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Buddy Thomas.

Jerry was born April 28, 1944 in Lancaster, S.C. a son of the late Walter Deese and Lillian Catoe Deese, and was married to Shirley Plyler Deese.

Jerry retired from The S.C. Highway Dept as a mechanic, and with CCC Trucking.  He also loved racing, car shows and working on race cars.

Jerry is Survived by his wife Shirley Plyler Deese, 1 Brother Harold Deese, 2 Sisters Sara Funderburk and Debbie Deese.  He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers Michael and Donald Deese,  3 Sisters Linda Sims, Sandra Riggins, and Brenda Deese.
