John Barry Stein

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. John Barry Stein age 57 died Monday morning January 22, 2017 from injuries received in a Trucking Accident. The Memorial Service for John will be 4 P.M. Thursday Afternoon at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin. The visitaion and greeting of friends will be 1 hour before the service from 3-4 P.M.Mr. Stein was born in Oahu, Hawaii May 7, 1960 a son of the late Robert 'Buddy' Stein and Maxine Michaw Stein and was married to Shelia Underhill Stein. He was employed by Supreme Core of Carolina located in Lancaster as a Truck Driver and a member of Elevation Church at Ballantyne.Mr. Stein was First a servant of God, a mighty warrior battling Satan in every way. He was a loving Husband, a caring dad and proud papaw. He worked for Supreme Cores of the Carolinas and took pride in working for a Christian Company. Whatever he did or where ever he went people would always be given that friendly smile and welcoming voice and after that a message of God's Love. We will all miss him but heaven is having a party to receive him.Members of John's family include his wife Shelia Underhill Stein of the home, 1 son, Joshua Shane Harned and wife Amy of Lancaster, 3 daughters, Frankie Stein Ortagus of Savannah, Ga. Chrystal Stein Riley of Columbia, and Wendy Nicole Harned of Ft. Mill, 6 Grandchildren Brody Harned, Justin Riley, Logan Riley, Brandon Horton, Hailey Ortagus and Madison Ortagus, 2 brothers Sydney and Glenn Stein, and a sister Sue Stein Tucker.
