LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Joy Ann Horton Hudson age 79 died Friday eveing April 6, 2018 at her home. The Funeral Service will be 3 P.M. Monday afternoon at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Doug Pate, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will have visitation from 2-3 P.M. before service time at the funeral home.Mrs. Hudson was born September 23, 1938 in Lancaster County a daughter of the late L.C. Horton and Pearl Cooper Horton and was married to the late Carl Hudson, Jr. She worked at Armstong Carpets and Springs Industries and was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church.Mrs. Hudson is survived by 2 daughters Cindy Brinkley Sudduth and husband Jerry, and Angie Brinkley Harley and husband Richard, both of Lancaster, 4 Grandchildren, Sophia Champion, Brandy Champion, Richard Harley, Jr. and Courtney Harley and 7 Great Grandchildren.Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by 2 brothers Charles Wayne Horton, Sr and William Howard 'Dub' Horton.JERRY HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME 684 HUBBARD DRIVE LANCASTER, S.C. 285-8000 IS TAKING CARE OF MRS.
