LANCASTER, S.C.::::::::Joyce Plyler Belk Harkey age 73 died early Tuesday Morning August 15, 2017 at her home. The Funeral Service will be 3 P.M. Thursday afternoon from the Chapel of Jerry Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Rusty McAllister, Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive Lancaster S.C.Joyce was born September 9, 1943 in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Burt Plyler and Pearl Steele Plyler, and was twice married first to the late Donald Ray Belk and second to John Harkey. She retired from Springs Industries Close Plant as an inspector, and was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.Joyce is survived by 1 son James R. Belk and wife Phyllis of Lancaster, 3 Grandchildren, Jill Yarborough, J.R. Belk, and Megan Belk, and 7 Great-Grandchildren, 1 brother David Plyler and wife Linda, and 1 sister Nancy Plyler Johnson and husband Mendel of Lancaster. She was pre-ceded in death by 1 daughter Susan Annette Belk, and 2 brothers, Jerry Plyler and Ronald Plyler.JERRY HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME IS TAKING CARE OF JOYCE AND HER FAMILY. .
