LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Katie Rollins Adams age 96 went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday Evening September 19, 2019 at MUSC Health Lancaster. The Funeral Services Are 3 P.M. Sunday Afternoon September 22, 2019 At Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel By Rev. Patrick Swells, and the Family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Saturday Afternoon Sept. 21, 2019 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive Lancaster S.C. Burial will follow beside her late husband Mr. James Carson Adams at Lancaster Memorial Park She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, and was a retired Home Health Nurse for Many Years. Mrs. Adams was born July 16, 1923 in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Oscar Heyward Rollins and Katie Irene Outen Rollins. Mrs. Adams is survived by 1 Daughter Linda McManus Mackey and husband Chuck Mackey, Grandchildren Include Mica Izzard and husband Lewis, Laura Beth Lucas and husband Travis, Jimmy McManus and wife Leanne Mangum and Katie Roddey, 12 Great Grandchildren, and also by her loving family of Bill and Louise Rollins and Russell " Rusty" Rollins who took wonderful care of her . Also surviving is her Sister in Law Betty Rollins that checked on her daily. They all will be blessed. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by 1 Daughter Judy Kay Adams, and 3 Brothers Lonnie Rollins, Heyward Rollins, and George Rollins.
