Linda Faye Tiffany

May 9, 1949 — June 3, 2026

Lancaster

Linda Faye Tiffany, 77, was born on May 9, 1949. She was a wonderful woman with a loving, kind spirit and a caring, nurturing heart. She loved being at home with family but always kept a great spirit of adventure. Growing up in the Church of God, Linda loved the Lord from the time she was a little girl and kept her faith at the center of everything she did. She lived her life completely on fire for God, and you couldn't help but feel that deep love and passion whenever you were around her.

In her 20s, she was an incredibly talented musician who played the guitar, piano, and drums. She even traveled to different states, singing and playing guitar on radio and TV shows with a ministry worship team alongside her late sister, Yvonne Pack, and her lifelong friend, Frances Bair. When she moved to South Carolina, she found her true church home at Christian Assembly (now Zamar Church). She loved getting involved and helping out with church events, projects, and ministries. Many people also remember her as a friendly face at Walmart, where she worked hard for 30 years before retiring.

Linda found so much happiness in the simple things—sharing a good story, eating a meal together, and just being surrounded by the people she loved. She was so naturally funny, loved a good laugh, and was always ready to tell a joke to brighten someone's day. She also loved a good adventure, whether she was relaxing on the beach, riding on a motorcycle, or heading out to see new vacation spots. She brought a warm, comforting presence to everyone around her, and her memory will always be a guiding light.

Showing just how strong and brave she truly was, Linda fought a courageous four-year battle with ovarian cancer. She spent her final years wrapped in total comfort, dignity, and love, with daughter Virginia, who stepped in as her full-time caregiver and looked after her every need.

Linda’s love lives on through her family. Along with her daughter Virginia of the home and her son Harvey of Ohio, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Beverly Pack of Covington, VA; her extended family, Marvin and Shelly Tennant, Melissa Kell, Nathan and Asher Tisdale, and Tony and Kelly Ellis and Family. She also leaves behind four nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-niece, and many dear friends and church family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Edward and Lucille Virginia; her sister, Yvonne Pack; and her brother, Larry Pack.
