Linda Kay Woods

LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Linda Kay Helms Woods age 73 died early Wednesday Morning July 3, 2019 at her home under the care of Hospice. The Memorial Service for Linda will be 3 P.M. Monday July 8, 2019 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rod Yow. It was her request to be Cremated, and the family suggest memorials to Hospice of S.C. Lancaster S.C. She was born in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Joe Helms Jr. and Ollie Stevens Helms and was married to Chivers Woods, Jr. She retired from Springs Industries Lancaster Plant after 40 years of Service, and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband Chivers Woods, Jr, 2 Sons Tony Woods , and Anthony T. ( T.J.) Woods, Jr. 3 Daughters Cynthia Rollins of Heath Springs, Kayla Ellis and husband Dylan Ellis, of Lancaster and Kimberly Balestino of Atlanta, 1 Brother Ray Helms, 5 Grandchildren, and 21 Grandchildren, also her companion Rita Craig. She was pre-ceded in death by 1 Daughter Vanessa Woods McDonald, 1 Grandson Phillip Woods, 2 Brothers, Eddie Helms, and Ricky Helms, 2 Sisters Kathy Snipes and Faye Stogner.
