FORT LAWN, S.C. Mr. Lonnie Andrew Humphries age 98 husband of the late Mary Jewell Sistare Humphries died early Monday Morning November 8, 2021 at his home. The Funeral Services were 3 P.M. Tuesday Afternoon November 9, 2021 at the Graveside of Elmwood Cemetery In Fort Lawn by his Grandson Rev. Andrew Bowers. Mr. Humphries request was to be buried as soon as possible.Mr. Humphries was born August 10, 1923 in Kershaw County a son of the late DeLandy Humphries and Lillian Idell Ghent Humphries.He retired from Springs Industries and served our Great Country in The U.S. Army during WWII Era. He was a member, Deacon, and Taught Sunday School Many years at The Lancaster Church of God.He is survived by his 2 Daughters Sharon Bowers ( late Roger Bowers) and Linda Caswell and husband Paul Caswell; 3 Grandchildren. Andrew Bowers and wife Susan, and David Caswell and Laura Elliott, 5 Great-Grandchildren Andrea Bowers, Ashley Cauthen ( T.J.), Caleb Bowers, Hailey Elliott and Nathaniel Bowers, and 1 Brother-In-Law Jerry Sistare and wife Pat.He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, 1 son Ronnie Humphries, and brother Wade Humphries.
