Lancaster, S.C. Ms. Martha Louise Adams Haywood "Nancy" age 79 wife of the late Floyd Haywood passed away Saturday February 05, 2022 at MUSC Lancaster, Medical Center. Visitation with friends and family will be 11 AM Tuesday February 08, 2022 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home with service to follow at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Jerry Hartley Funeral Home with the Rev. Brain Barton. Burial will be in Waxhaw City Cemetery. Martha was born June 09, 1942 in Chester, a daughter of the late Louis Stogner and Melissa Ivey Stogner. Martha was 1 of 10 siblings . Martha was known as the "Peach Lady" always had a smile on her face and loved people. During the Summer months You would find Ms. Martha around town selling her vegetables and peaches. Martha was of the Baptist faith. Martha is survived by 2 sons Lynn Underwood and wife Sandra , Robbie Adams and wife Tina and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 Sisters Evelyn Hodge, and Polly Gordon. Martha was preceded in death by 1 son Melvin Eugene Adams and 6 brothers and 1 sister. Ms. Haywood is in the Care of Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, S.C. 803-285-8000 .
