Mary Lee Lathan Adams

LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Mary Lee Lathan Adams age 83 died Wednesday July 22, 2020 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center. The Funeral Service will be 3 P.M. Friday July 24, 2020 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park beside her husband Mr. John Adams. The Family will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. at the Funeral Home. She was born August 11, 1936 in Chester County a daughter of the late John Lathan, and Ruby Revels Lathan Kennington, and was married to the late John Adams. She retired from Springs Industries, Lancaster Plant where she was a weaver, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 Sons Bennie Adams and his wife Shirley Brooks Adams, and Timothy Mark Adams, 2 Grandchildren, Benjie Scott Adams and his wife Rhonda Baker Adams, and Jamie Helen Knight and husband Andy Knight, and 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. 1 Brother Billy Kennington and wife Gail Kennington of Lexington, S.C. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by 1 Daughter Sharon Adams Helms, Sharon's children Sharon Denise Helms, Dennis Calvin Helms, Jr. and Christopher Lee Helms, and 1 Sister Connie Smith.
