LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Mary Jane Ramp Dobson age 82 wife of the late Rev. Norman Dobson, Sr. died Sunday Morning April 7, 2024 at Lancaster County Convalescent Center. The Obituary is Incomplete and will be Completed Monday April 8, 2024, however burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Norman.
The Visitation for Mrs. Dobson will be Friday Evening April 12, 2024 from 6-7 P.M. at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive Lancaster, S.C. 803-285-8000.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Dobson will be at 11 A.M. Saturday April 13, 2024 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Daniel Ramsey, Rev. Donnie Allen, and Rev. Edwards, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dobson was born June 6, 1941 in Marion, Indiana a daughter of the late Kenneth Douglas Ramp and Kathryn Mae Wheat Ramp. She was a Ministers wife, and Supported him heavily.
Mrs. Dobson is survived by a son Vern Rod Dobson, 4 Daughters Cindy Garcia, Guinn Jones (Earnie) Kristy Dobson, and Starla Osteen (Stephen) and Daughter in law Angie Dobson,12 Grandchildren, Danny Cauffman, Josh Cauffman, Craig Jones (Traci) Norman Dobson III (Jennifer) Jessie Dobson, (Danielle) Jordan Dobson, (Anna) Donald Weed, (Teniah), Darius Weed, Courtney Osteen, Kelsey Osteen, Stephen Osteen, and Dallas Osteen, 13 Great-grandchildren, 2 Sisters Phyllis Hocket, and Lucretia Bassett.
Mrs. Dobson was Preceded in Death by her husband Rev. Norman Dobson, and 2 sons Rev. Norman Dobson, Jr. and Robin Dobson, her brothers Franklin Ramp, Vaughn William Ramp, and Samuel Ramp, also 2 sisters Mildred Louise Andrews, and Lena Sue Ramp.
