LANCASTER, S.C.::::::::Mrs. Mavis Ruth Caskey age 97, wife of Mr. Ira W. Caskey Jr. died Wednesday December 6, 2017 at her home. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Caskey will be 12 NOON Monday at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel 684 Hubbard Drive, By Rev. Dr. Kyle Sims, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park, Visitation will be from 11:30 until NOON at Funeral Home. Mrs. Caskey was born October 10, 1920 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Carl Rodgers and Ida Belle Steele Rodgers and was married to her husband Mr. Ira W. Caskey, Jr. for 75 years, She retired from Springs Industries Grace Bleachery Sewing Room, a member of The First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where she served in many areas.She is survived by her husband of 75 years Mr. I.W. Caskey, Jr, of the home, 2 sons I.W. Caskey III and Kenneth Caskey both of Lancaster, 1 grand-daughter Lisa Caskey, and 1 brother Quinton Rodgers of Edgemoor, S.C.
