Mckeown 'Mack' Rogers

COLUMBIA, S.C. Mr. McKeown " Mack " Samuel Rogers age 27 died Thursday Evening November 7, 2019 from injuries received in a vehicle and pedestrian accident in Lexington, S.C. Mack was a passenger in the vehicle going to bible study at USC with his friend. As they were heading to bible study, a pedestrian was in the road and the vehicle Mack was in was unable to avoid hitting the pedestrian. Mack immediately jumped out of the vehicle with no thought for his own safety to assist the pedestrian. As he reached the pedestrian, a second vehicle hit both Mack and the already injured Pedestrian. Both Victims resulted in fatal injuries and death. Mack was a Senior at The University of South Carolina in Columbia and would have graduated in December. He was an awesome young man who loved god with all of his heart and all of his friends and family will remember his smiling face. The Funeral Service will be 3 P.M. Sunday Afternoon at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster, S.C. by Rev. Bryan Hutson. The Visitation with family and friends will be after the service. Mack was born October 30, 1992 in Hartsville, S.C. a son of Anselmo Trejo, and Martha Parra, and Step-Father Sergio Parra and Macks Adopted Mother Ann Cokeley and husband Gary.
