FORT LAWN, S. C.  Mrs. Melisa Anne  Grist Copeland age 51 wife of Mr. David Leonard Copeland died Thursday May 04, 2023 at MUSC in Lancaster, S.C. The Funeral Service will be 12 noon Tuesday May 09, 2023 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dr. Danny Hedgepath.Visitation will be 11-12 PM at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home .

Melisa was born june 25, 1971 in Hornell, New York a daughter of Bernadine Fuller Grist and the late David Roy Grist. She was a Health Care Specialist with Med/Net Concept, and served our great country in The United States Air Force.

Melisa is survived by her mother Bernadine Grist, her husband David Leonard Copeland, 2 Sons Ryan David Grist, and Brandon Leonard Copeland, 1 Daughter Allison Elaine Copeland, 2 Grandchildren Zachary Grist, and Zackarachis Grist, 1 Brother Brian Eugene Grist.
