Sunday September 19, 2021 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Charles WatkinsBurial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery on Taxahaw Road. Melvin Adams, Sr. who was buried at Union Baptist Church. He worked for Sign Crafters and Davis Neon Sign,and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his mother Martha Adams Haywood, 2 Sons William Adams and Gage Adams, 1 Daughter Angel Martin Jones,3 Grandchildren Randy "R.J." Jones, Elijah Jones, and Ashton Jones, 5 Brothers Steve Adams,Tom Adams, Wendell Adams and wife Barbara, Lynn Underwood and wife Sandra, and Robbie Adams and wife Tina,2 Sisters Shelby Todd and husband Frank Todd, and Sandra Barton and husband Rev.
