Michael "Jacob" Hall

 Fort Lawn, S.C. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Michael “Jacob” Hall at just 20 years old due to a horrific car accident on Chester Hwy. Our Jake, “Jacob”, was a loyal, caring, hard-working young man with a heart bigger than most. His kindness, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Jacob will be deeply missed by his mother, Angela Rose McCorkle, and was preceded in death by his father, Michael “Todd” Hall. 

He is survived by his siblings, Savannah Rose Hall, Bradley William McCorkle (Aynsleigh); his beloved nephews, Wyatt and Parker. His paternal grandparents, “Pop” John Phillips and is remembered along with his late grandmother, “Nanny” Marilyn Phillips along with maternal grandparents, “Nana” Betty Mangum, and late “Pawpaw” Jerry Mangum, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were blessed to know him. Though Jacob’s life was short, his warmth, laughter, and spirit will remain with us always. 

Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM  Saturday February 28th, 2026 at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
