LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Mildred Gandy Brackett Cameron " MAW MAW " age 98, mother of Robin Brackett Hunter died Saturday June 2, 2018. The Funeral Services are 3 P.M. Tuesday at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Durante Pardue, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Visitation with the family will be from 2-3 P.M. at the Funeral HomeMrs. Mildred was born in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Joseph Edward Gandy and Floye Snipes Gandy Fisher, and was twice married first to the late Robert Brackett, and the late Ike Cameron. She was the Owner and Operator of Mildred's Beauty Shop, in Lancaster for 65 years, graduate of Baltimore School of Beauty Culture, and a member of The Annointed Word Church in Lancaster.Mrs. Mildred is survived by her daughter Robin Brackett Hunter and her husband Phillip Hunter of Lancaster, 1 grandson Joseph Michael " Mike " Gainey and his wife Alesha of Waxhaw, N.C. Twin Great - Grandchildren Joseph Michael Gainey, Jr, and Jocelyn Grace Gainey.
