Patricia Boykin Maslin

PAGELAND, S. C. Patricia Boykin Maslin passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, on March 5th, 2024, at Pineville Atrium Hospital. A vibrant soul, Patricia, 70, lived a full life as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend. Born in Lancaster, SC, on January 19th, 1954, Patricia resided in Pageland, SC, at the time of her passing.

The funeral service is 3 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Hope Family Worship Center, Pageland, SC.  Visitation will follow after the funeral service.

Left behind by her loving husband, Eric Maslin, Patricia is survived by her six children: Michael and wife Traci Rivers, Kelli Rivers, Kimberly Hardin, Marissa and husband Brandon Moore, Mary Ann Rivers, and Tequila Boykin. She leaves behind a legacy of 14 grandchildren: Caleb, Aaron, Noah, Christopher, Elijah, Neveah, Trinity, John Paul, Alley, Madison, Christian, Conner, Trenton, and Azaleigh.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William Yancy Boykin and Willie Mae Boykin, and all her brothers: John, Joe, Eugene, Charles, Tommy, Billy Rae, and James Boykin. Raised in Lancaster, SC, after high school graduation, worked in various customer service settings. She and Eric shared 33 years of marriage, raising their six children. Her most cherished role came in 1999 when she became a grandmother.

Devoted to her family, Patricia enjoyed creating memorable experiences with her grandchildren, whether at the movies, waterpark, or beach. She took immense pride in the individuals her adult children had become. A caring friend and a woman of deep faith, Patricia exemplified Christ's love, going to great lengths to share that love with strangers.
