Rathiel Henry Totherow

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. R. H. Totherow age 100, husband of Sandra Sims R. Totherow died early Friday morning July 17, 2020 at his home. The Graveside Funeral Services are 10 A.M. Wednesday morning July 22, 2020 at Ebenezer Baptist Church by Rev. Ronald Boone with burial to follow. Mr. Totherow was born May 18, 1920 in Ellijay, Georgia a son of George Glenn Totherow and Fannie Mae Grizzle Totherow . Mr. Totherow was twice married first to Grace Totherow for 69 years and second to Sandra Sims Reeves Totherow. Mr. Totherow was Ordained as a minister in 1944, he also worked for Cone Mills as a Tie End Machine Operator, a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and served our great country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife Sandra Sims R. Totherow, 2 Sons Olin Totherow and Todd Sims, 4 Daughters Carol Blocker, Patsy Philbeck, Regina Watkins and Betty Varner, 20 Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren and 1 Sister Dorcas Moore. Mr. Totherow was preceded in death children Clyde William Totherow and Baby Boy Totherow, Brothers Dennis, Randall, Leonard, Ed, Elmer, Doyle, Clarence, and Arlon Totherow, 2 Sisters Tressie Patterson, and Mildred Clark.
