MONROE, N.C. Mr. Richard Coy Shehane age 88 husband of Patty Shehane died Saturday July 28, 2018 at CMC Union. The Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Tuesday morning July 31, 2018 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Johanna C. Miller, with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. The Family will greet friends from 10-11 A.M. at the Funeral Home 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, S.C. 803-285-8000.Mr. Shehane was born in Chester County July 16, 1930, a son of the late William Coy Shehane and Leila Baker Shehane. He was twice married first to the late Betty Shehane and second to Patty Shehane. He Graduated from the University of South Carolina, was the Overseer and Supervisor of the Packing Department, Grace Bleachery of Springs Industries, and member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Monroe, N.C. and served our Great Country in The U.S. Marine Corp.Mr. Shehane is survived by his wife Patty Shehane of the Home, 1 Daughter Rebecca Shehane Busby, and husband Greg Busby of Johns Island, S.C. 1 Step-Daughter Pam Wilson and husband Mike Wilson of Monroe. 3 Sisters Joanne Phillips of Monroe, Sandra Beckham of Rock Hill, and Nell Phillips of Texas.
