In Loving Memory of Robin (Rob) Drew Robbins

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. Robin (Rob) Drew Robbins, born on, May 3, 1956 in Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025. Honorable servant of the U.S. Navy as Construction Mechanic (Seabees), Petty Officer Second Class. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Martha Robbins and daughter Crystal Robbins.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carolyn Robbins and his four daughters Amanda Ainley-Robbins (Larry) of Concord NC., Misty Wood (Ben) of Lancaster, Rebecca Yates (Andrew) of Clearwater FL. , Kelly Stogner (T.J. Craig) of Chesterfield, and his 9 grandchildren.

Rob Robbins was a kind, funny, and deeply loving man whose positive energy touched everyone he met. A devoted family man, and loyal friend to many. Rob lived a life built on love, laughter, and hard work.

His hands were made for labor — from driving a cement truck to mastering carpentry — but his heart was made for his family and the people around him. He was the husband to his best friend, Carolyn. Together, they built not only a family and a home, but a love story that inspired everyone who knew them. You rarely saw one without the other.Rob was a wonderful father and grandfather, a steady presence filled with encouragement, fun, and warmth. His sense of humor and big heart made him a favorite among kids and adults alike.

A true craftsman, Rob believed in doing things right. Whether tackling major jobs or tinkering with a gadget at home, his attention to detail was unwavering. Carpentry wasn't just a job to him — it was an art form and a testament to his dedication. That same pride extended to his lawn care side work, where every yard he mowed was left looking immaculate.

Rob was also a man of great passions. A lifelong Panthers fan, he loved watching games and sharing his positive take, win or lose. He enjoyed golf for a time, drawn to the sport's challenge and camaraderie. His love for the Carolinas ran deep — he followed local construction projects with fascination and took pride in the region's growth and promise. He was endlessly curious, especially about technology and gadgets, always staying up to date with the latest trends. But he also knew how to slow down and enjoy life's quiet moments, especially at the beach, where the waves and sand brought him peace.

Rob's kindness and humor shone through in everything he did. He loved cooking and grilling for friends and family, and his sweet tooth was legendary. His beloved pets — Tigger, Patches, and Cotton — were his cherished companions, treated with the same love and care he gave everyone else.

Rob was raised in the First Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and his faith was a quiet but steady guide throughout his life.

Today, we say goodbye to a man who built a life of love, laughter, and meaning. While we will miss his laugh, his wisdom, and his unwavering optimism, Rob's spirit lives on in all the lives he touched. He showed us that with a hardworking spirit and a loving heart, a life can be truly and beautifully lived.
