Ronald Taylor, 49, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on May 02, 2026.
Ronald was born on May 11, 1976, in Lancaster to Michael and Betty Taylor. Ronald spend his life doing what he loved-working alongside his best friends and building not just a career, but lasting friendships along the way.
Ronald had a deep love for racing and cherished every moment spend with his family. He was known for his sense of humor, always ready with a joke, and for the joy he brought to those around him. Above all, he was a devoted father and proud "Pawpaw", roles he treasured most.
He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Beckham Taylor; his devoted sons, Ronald Dale Taylor and Donald Toby Taylor; Providence Hildreth friend; his daughter, Stacy Lynn Taylor and sister, Lisa Taylor Stacks; his brother-in-law, Rusty Stacks; and his brother, Michael Dwayne Taylor. A special son Andrew Taylor and Ronald was also a treasured grandfather to Sydney Taylor, Autumn Taylor, and Mayson Simpson. Among his closest friends were Charlie and Linda Ellis and Freddie Kersey, who held a special place in his life. The family remains deeply connected, bound by the memories and love they shared with Ronald.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Michael Toby Taylor, whose memory he honored throughout his life.
Family, friends, and all those whose lives Ronald touched are invited to join in a visitation on May 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., both held at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, located at 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720. The day will conclude with a burial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Taxahaw Baptist Church Cemetery/Massey, in Lancaster.
Ronald Eugene Taylor’s life will be remembered for its dedication, warmth, and the lasting impact he had on his family and community. His legacy as a skilled craftsman and a cherished family member remains in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be missed profoundly, yet fondly remembered always.
