Rose Margaret Lawson

INDIAN LAND. S.C. Mrs. Rose Margaret Lawson, age 79, wife of Mr. Dan Lawson, passed away August 18, 2026 at her home.  She was born October 22, 1946, in Gloversville, New York, the daughter of the late Mr. George Hallenback and Mrs. Mary Carbenilli Hallenback. She received her Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburg.  She was a teacher - teaching Pre-School 1 and also Elementary 6th grade.

She is survived by her husband Mr. Dan Lawson; her son Bryan Lawson and his wife Angie and their 2 children Madison and Aubrey Lawson; her daughter Kristen Kringle and her son Warren Kringle.  She is also survived by her sister Marry Ann Hubbard and brother-in-law Jerry Hubbard and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret loved birds - especially owls and hummingbirds; she loved crocheting and making blankets to donate to the hospitals where she volunteered with her husband.  She was a wonderful mother and wife that cared deeply for her many family and friends.

The Viewing and Visitation of Margaret and greeting of friends will be from 3-5 P.M. Wednesday afternoon August 26, 2026 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel with refreshments in the Waterfall Room after you speak to the family.
