Sandra Blackmon Lowery

Sandra Blackmon Lowery was peacefully called home to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of February 11, 2026. She was born December 27, 1954 in Lancaster, South Carolina. She was the third daughter of the late James Clyde, Blackmon, and the late Clara Louise Hancock Blackmon.  The Memorial Service for Sandy will be 12 Noon Saturday February 21, 2026 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Wayne Snipes. The Visitation with the family and friends will be from 11:A.M. to 12:Noon at the funeral home and other times at the home of Lonnie and Sherry Johnson 699 Dahlia Road Lancaster, S.C. 29720.

Sandy was a fun, bright spirit, whose joy and laughter touched everyone who knew her! Sandy truly loved life and spending time with her family. Birthday celebrations, and Christmas time was the most special to her!

Sandy loved to thrift shop. She always found the most unique treasures and the best deals! Sandy‘s faith was an important part of her life. She wasn’t afraid to share her testimony wherever she was!

Sandy is survived by her two sons, Jody Scott Rufo and his wife Stephanie Kay Rufo; Joseph Anthony Rufo, Jr. and Christina. Grandchildren; Makayla Rufo, Destinee and Brendan Walbridge, Jourinee Rufo and Faith. Great Grandchild Lachlan Walbridge. Two sisters, Julie & Rev. Eddie Usher; Sherry & Lonnie Johnson.

Sandy is proceeded in death by great grandchildren Fred, George, and Ron Walbridge (triplets).
