LANCASTER, S.C. Mrs. Sarah Katherine Lavan age 85, of 1750 Lynwood Drive, died peacefully at her home Monday afternoon July 10, 2017. Mrs. Lavan will be cremated, and at the request of the family there will be no services.Mrs. Lavan was born November 1, 1931 in Florida, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McClellan, and was married to the late Joseph Lavan, Jr. She was a retired nurses aide and of the Baptist Faith.Mrs. Lavan is survived by 2 sons Joseph Lavan III and wife Rene of Lancaster, and Christopher Lavan of Florida. 5 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren 1 brother, John McClellan of Florida,She was preceded in death by 1 brother and sister.JERRY HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME 684 HUBBARD DRIVE LANCASTER, S.C. 285-8000 IS TAKING CARE OF MRS.
