LANCASTER. S.C. SFC Rodney Harry Richards II age 71 husband of Colleen Richards died Monday September 29, 2025, at his home. He was born June 15, 1954, in Woodbury, New Jersey, a son of Joan Stapleford and the late Rodney Richards. He retired from the U.S. Army as Sergeant First Class E-7. A member of Second Baptist Church in Lancaster and graduated from Troy State University.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Colleen Davey Richards of the home, a son William Bryant of Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Funeral Service is 12:00 Noon Tuesday October 07, 2025, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, S.C.
