The Funeral Service is 12 Noon Saturday February 24, 2024 at Berryhill Baptist Church, burial with full Military Honors by the U.S. Marine Corp will be in BerryHill Baptist Church Cemetery 9801 Walkers Ferry Road Charlotte, N.C. 28214
The Visitation for Mr. Gaddy will be from 11 A.M. until 12 Noon Saturday February 24, 2024 at BerryHill Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C. 28214
Mr. Gaddy was born November 06, 1930 in Waynesville, N.C. a son of the late Mark Lee Gaddy and Vergie Dixon Gaddy and he was married to the late Gwenlynn Anne Beach Gaddy. He retired from the U.S. Military government having served in Korea as a tanker and also was an Aviation Mechanic in the US Navy. He enjoyed Motorcycles,watching old western movies, Gunsmoke, and Wells Fargo. He also watched the movie Gallant Hours everytime it was on.
Mr. Gaddy is survived by a son William Ray "Bill" Gaddy, Jr. of Rock Hill, a daughter Debra Gaddy Hatley of Indian Trail, N.C. 7 Grandchildren, and a Daughter-in-law Peggy Gaddy of Lancaster.
Mr. Gaddy was preceded in death by a son Richard Allan Gaddy, a Brother Robert Gaddy, and 2 Sisters Edith Motley and Gladys Gaddy.
