William Thomas Strickland, Jr

LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. William T. Strickland Jr. age 80 husband of Mary Rauton Strickland died Sunday November 1, 2020 at his home. The Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday afternoon November 4, 2020 at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kyle Sims and Rev. Wayne Dickson with military honors. The Visitation will follow the services at their home 1871 Tara Trail, (Hickory Estates) Lancaster, S.C. Mr. Strickland was born February 3, 1940 in Chester County a son of the late William T. Strickland, Sr. and Thelma Jones Strickland. He retired as a self employed Spirits and Wine Distributor, a member of First A.R.P. Church, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and served as a Mason and Shriner. Mr. Strickland was twice married first to the late Jean Baker Strickland and second to Mary Alice Rauton Strickland. He is survived by his wife Mary Alice Rauton Strickland of the home, 1 Son Kirk Strickland and wife Amy Strickland of Indian Land 1 Stepson Dan Zmroczek, Grandchildren, Joshua, Lindsay, Hannah, Casey, Peyton Strickland, and Nathan Moore. and 1 Great Grand Child Eli Bryce Mercado, 1 Brother John Edward Strickland and wife Annette. Mr. Strickland was pre-ceded in death by a son William T. "Bill" Strickland, and 1 Sister Linda S. Bryant.
